About

Kaleidoscope is a project funded by Adrienne Arsht and produced by the Smithsonian Institution that celebrates different perspectives of resilience through the lens of history, art, science, and culture.

The project offers an interactive blend of digital and in-person experiences to guide visitors to reflect, connect, and act. Pulling from the vast knowledge resources of the Smithsonian—including its extensive collections, stories, and diverse initiatives—we explore the concept of resilience from a variety of angles.

Empowered by the lessons of the past and the stories of the present, the Kaleidoscope project aims to help pave the way for a brighter future. When we reflect on our shared existence, we can better connect with our communities and environments, inspiring us to take action to create positive change.
